A Chihuahua named Ricky Ray is protective of his dear family and feels that he has to be close to them all the time. He is feisty despite his super tiny size and thinks he is much bigger than he is.
A family member of the feisty Chihuahua, Layla Tucker, said that Ricky Ray is loving and loves to cuddle. However, the pooch is timid with strangers.
Tucker also said that Ricky Ray is particularly protective of their mom and will attack any dog that dares to get close. Fortunately, the tiny dog does not create that much damage.
Not long ago, Tucker’s family and a few of their friends were staying together in a vacation house to celebrate some birthdays. However, the family was afraid that they might lose track of Ricky Ray and Petrie, another Chihuahua also staying there.
The house also had iron gates with gaps large enough for the tiny dogs. Thus, they needed to find a way to prevent the Chihuahuas from getting lost. Luckily, they came up with the perfect idea.
They tied balloons around Petrie and Ricky Ray so wherever they were, anyone in the family could see them right away— and it worked!
After that, anybody who wanted to look for the tiny dogs needed only to search for the bobbing balloons.
Tucker said the idea prevented anyone from stepping on the Chihuahuas, especially Ricky Ray, who is usually by their mom’s feet.
As for the tiny Chihuahuas, they seemed not to mind their new accessories at all.
The whole time everyone was in the vacation house, the balloons prevented anyone from stepping on the tiny dogs and alerted the family if they were strolling too far away. The best part was that the balloons became an excellent way to keep the dogs safe.
