A litter of newborn puppies was discovered in Los Angeles County and they were lying right beneath their dead mother. Because they were strays, the person who found them took them in for the meantime. Later, they were taken in by Clanay Reza, a dog lover and pet groomer.
At that time, the puppies were just three days old. Sadly, four of the puppies perished, leaving only one alive. Clanay named him Lucky.
Clanay first believed that Lucky would not survive. The dog was so frail and infested with fleas and ticks. The woman spent many sleepless hours vigilating over him and fervently praying for his survival.
Lucky had quite a strong will to live and continued to improve with each passing day. The entire family, including Clanay’s brother Bobby, was overjoyed to see him open his eyes for the first time.
Clanay’s siblings developed a fondness for animals after Lucky entered their life, most especially Bobby. As a result of Bobby’s continual presence during Lucky’s childhood, the two created a strong friendship.
After Lucky reached a certain age, Clanay took him to a specialist. She discovered that the puppy was a Pekingese-Albino mix with a blind right eye. When he was four months old, he lost his right eye owing to a melting ulcer. Despite this, he rapidly recovered from the loss of his eye and continued to enjoy his life.
Lucky had a large personality despite his diminutive stature. As soon as he was finally able to walk, he became quite expressive and opinionated. Clanay anticipated that he would be a handful.
Lucky suffered numerous difficult health challenges, but Clanay did not abandon him. She was aware that the puppy had a strong will to have a full and happy life. Clanay learned that life is valuable and should not be taken for granted through caring for Lucky.
