Lenier Mesa, a Cuban singer, had a friend bring his 8-week-old Pomeranian to the clinic for immunization. It is a quick and easy procedure for the majority of dogs. However, things did not go so smoothly for the adorable dog. When no one was looking, an unknown woman stole the dog and fled.
Mesa was heartbroken when he learned the news, and he offered a $1,000 prize to anyone who could find the puppy. Fortunately, the puppy fell into the hands of someone trustworthy, who quickly returned the little canine.
Panda, a Pomeranian puppy, was stolen from the Best Care Animal Clinic in Florida. Surveillance footage shows a woman standing near Panda’s carrier while one person checked out at the counter and another sat in the corner with a dog. She slipped the puppy out of the carrier bag and tucked him beneath her shirt when no one was watching.
The woman then calmly went out with the puppy as if nothing untoward had occurred. No one asked why she was there without a pet at the time. Nonetheless, the doctor stated that individuals frequently come in to pick up their pets or buy medications, so nothing seemed out of the ordinary up until that moment.
Based on the video evidence, Mesa turned to social media to assist him in finding the woman. He discovered her name is Madelyn Acosta, and police are investigating. Mesa went so far as to offer a $1,000 reward for Panda’s safe return. It didn’t take long for someone to come forward with information.
The lost Pomeranian was returned to the vet clinic by a homeless man. According to reports, the suspect handed him the puppy, so he did the right thing and returned it. It’s unclear whether Mesa rewarded the homeless man, but he’s pleased to have the dog back.
It’s still unclear whether the lady who stole Panda has been arrested, although authorities are looking into it. Of course, it’s crucial to keep a tight check on your dog while you’re out in public, but it’s distressing that someone would do this to a helpless dog. Panda is fortunate to be back at home with a human who adores him.
