Ashleigh Macpherson brought home a 9-month-old Finnish Spitz puppy and named her Kiko in hopes that she could be a great distraction during the lengthy lockdown. Ashleigh believes that Kiko must have sensed how much she needed her because the pup literally refuses to let her out of sight.
It turns out that Kiko has slowly yet seriously taken being a good “watchdog” to a whole different level because of how she insists on keeping a close eye on her mom, despite facing the opposite direction. Kiko wanted nothing but her mama to be within her eyesight 24/7.
Ashleigh admitted that she did not think much whenever she sees Kiko craning her head back a little bit whenever she sleeps. Ashleigh said that Kiko has always done it since she was a little puppy, and she thought that Kiko was just one of those pups who liked to sleep while looking like a broken doggo plushie.
Ashleigh eventually observed that Kiko started rotating her head to a complete 180-degree angle, even when she is wide awake too as she got older. Ashleigh said that Kiko would often bend her neck far back to look at her two doggo siblings, making her believe that Kiko just found it more convenient to do so than moving her entire body around.
Ashleigh noticed that Kiko started to use her flexibility to watch over her even further despite her body looking in the opposite direction as her bond with Kiko deepened overtime. She recalled being surprised when she first saw Kiko bending her head back just to look at her.
Ashleigh eventually thought how adorable it was that Kiko really wanted to focus on her. Ashleigh believes that her dog must have loved her very much that she literally did not want to take her eyes off her even for one bit.
