For many reasons, a dog’s friendship is one of the most beautiful things that you will receive. That same platonic love is even extended to their fellow pups!
Wallace, an adorable Corgi, is surely one of the best examples, as he is known to be a big fan of hugs.
Wallace is the type of dog who always greets his fellow pooches with warm hugs! Here is Wallace’s incredibly wholesome and heartwarming story:
Wallace the dog hugger
It seems that Wallace knows that times are tough, so he decides to make things much more bearable in his own little way. According to Noah Raminick, Wallace’s owner, his dog just can’t help but hug each pup that he meets on his walks in the park. The one-year-old Corgi obviously loves playing, but he will not let another dog pass without giving them a warm embrace.
What’s more amazing is that Wallace has never been trained to give hugs. It just comes naturally. Coincidentally, his middle name is Casanova, an old-fashioned moniker that has always been associated with romance and love.
However, Wallace doesn’t just give hugs whenever he wants it. He only gets close when he’s sure that the other dog is comfortable with his presence. Initially, he will give them a brief sniff. And when he’s sure that it’s safe, he will get on his hind legs to wrap his short paws around the dog.
Wallace loves to give kisses, too!
Sometimes, some dogs do not want to receive a hug, maybe because they feel shy, afraid, or awkward. Wallace seems to know that, too. So what he does is he plants some sloppy kisses. This is what he does to his cousin Milo, a Cavapoo.
Big dog or small dog, the hug giver does not care. He is certainly gentle with smaller pups, and he is surely fearless with large ones, such as his Great Dane best friend.
