Humans are great lovers of dogs. We cannot live without them and we also love to pull pranks on them.
This grandpa pulled the perfect prank on his dog by ignoring his calls for play. Archer, a Malinois puppy, patiently waited for gramps to notice him.
The pop understood that when granddad is in one of his reading moods, it could take quite a bit of time to pull him away from it.
Archer waited on his heels, oblivious to the fact that his gramps was playing a mean trick on him. Grandpa deliberately ignored him while pretending to read a book.
Gramps then sneakily dropped a blue ball from his side, and poor Archer quickly snapped it up.
It was the perfect opportunity to get grandpa’s attention, so he picked it up and placed it right beside his reading owner.
Somebody tell this poor dog that his gramps definitely knew what he was asking for. The poor baby’s just too cute to be made to wait like that.
If Archer could talk, he would have probably told grandpops that playing is more interesting than the book he’s reading.
Patient pet
He would have probably agreed, pet, but his knees are no longer able to support his body for that kind of rigorous activity. It’s what happens when everyone gets in their senior years.
You’ll understand when you get older. It doesn’t really make sense to you now but it will in time. We just hope that you didn’t interpret this lack of attention as a lack of love towards you.
If anything, this whole situation just screamed of the kind of relationship everybody wants to have with their dogs.
Consider yourself lucky, Archer, and know that there are plenty more days for you guys to play. We know he’ll make it up to you, so cheers!
